Inverter for LEM and Mild-hybrid applications

The BRM consists of an electromechanical part that generates the electromagnetic fields responsible for charging the 48V and 12V battery of the vehicle (alternator function) and also for generating the torque to support the engine (motor function)

On the other hand, of a logic and power electronics for managing the machine in the vehicle and inverter of the AC/DC current. We call this electronics “Inverter”.

At Treto plant we do the final assembly and software flashing of the Inverter.

Inverter in House

E-Machine production, inverter assembly, software engineering & flashing, and final assembly happen all in one place.

The ISO8 clean room of about 3,000 square meters is a facility with assembly lines for electronic components.

SEG Automotive assembles in this area the Inverter that incorporates its 48V BRM.

Electronics products require special production standards.

Opening ceremony of the electronics clean room

In October 2024 we inaugurated the electronics assembly clean room at the Treto plant.

The Spanish Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Jordi Hereu and the President of the Government of Cantabria, María José Saénz de Buruaga, inaugurated this facility together with the rest of the local authorities.

This project involved an investment of more than 20 million euros, nine of which have been contributed by the Spanish government from the European 'Next Generation' funds.
