Who we are

Our global company SEG Automotive is present in 14 countries with around 6,000 employees. The Spanish site is one of the most experienced factories of the group, lead plant for BRM 48V worldwide.

We manufacture and co-develop alternators, and components for light electric mobility in our facilities of more than 240.000 m2. We also have a clean room for electronics components assembly.

We are deeply ingrained in the region, with a strong network of partners, and a strategic partnership with the national government.

Our experienced factory contribute to the present and future of the mobility industry with reliable products and innovations.

Our history in Spain

A benchmark supplier to the automotive industry since 1962

SEG Automotive Spain S.A.U. has more than 60 years of history. The plant was founded as part of Fábrica Española de Magnetos S.A. (FEMSA). From 1978, it belonged to the Bosch Group within its Alternators and Starters division.

ZMJ Group acquired this division and founded the company SEG Automotive in 2018.

Achievements and partnerships

Throughout its history, the Treto plant has been widely valued for its high quality performance. It has received important recognitions from customers and certifying entities, and is one of the largest employers in the region in terms of turnover and number of employees.
